Click Speed Test Guide

Welcome to our click speed test—a lightweight cps tester and clicker tester that helps you see how fast can you click. Use it as a quick mouse clicker test or a full clicking speed checker to track progress over time.

Some Rules of this Clicker

  1. Choose a duration (1–60s) and press Start.
  2. Click the big round pad or press Spacebar—each press counts as one click.
  3. No auto-clickers: this tool is for genuine clicking speed.
  4. Results show total clicks and CPS; sounds play at start and finish.
  5. For fair comparisons, test on the same device and browser.

How this tool works

  • High-resolution timing with performance.now() for accuracy.
  • Live CPS updates ~10×/sec for smooth feedback.
  • Clicks are counted on pointer/keyboard events (mouse/touch/Spacebar).
  • Finish triggers a popup with your score plus a short chime.
  • Optional start “mouse-click” sound confirms the test began.

Mathematical formula to count

Let C = total clicks and T = time in seconds.

Example: 62 clicks in 10s → CPS = 62 / 10 = 6.20; CPM = 6.20 × 60 = 372.

FAQ

What is a good CPS?

Many casual players fall between 4–7 CPS. Around 8–10+ is fast, and higher than that usually means practice.

Does holding the mouse count multiple clicks?

No—only discrete presses count. Each down/up (or Spacebar press) is one click.

Why didn’t I hear sound?

Browsers require a user gesture before audio can play. Click Start or the pad once; after that, sounds will work.

Is this a mouse clicker test or a keyboard test?

Both! It’s a mouse clicker test by default, and you can also use the Spacebar.
